CLS was founded in 2002 by Mike & Karen Shaffren. Both have a broad range of experiences in the human services field, as providers and consumers of services. After a number of years working for a variety of other agencies Mike & Karen decided to start their own agency.

CLS Is a privately owned agency that provides a variety of services to individuals with Intellectual disabilities. CLS is licensed by DBHDS to provide Medicaid Waiver Services. These services include residential, centered based and non-centered Day Training.

​CLS was Founded in 2002, CLS's main office  as well as our day training program is located in  Waynesboro, VA. 

CLS provides Quality Services to individuals with Intellectual disabilities
